Eh hem. Deep breath.

To date: this is what has happened to my car, from purchase.

My tyre has been let down TWICE, once while equipped with anti-theft valve caps...I dont even know how that one happened.
It's been keyed once, a long deep scratch..
Ive had the one crash, which was some tool without lights on at night (so of COURSE I didn't see him)
Attacked by ants

And then, to top it all off, last night or yesterday...

Some prick EGGED my car with 6 eggs (Yes, I counted the shells), SMEARED it in, and down EVERY gap in the lining, AND THEN, just to top THAT off, let down the tyre and used an egg to glue up the valve!!!!!
Took my Dad (I had to work, so I called Dad and he said he'd sort it, just do the work and then come help) 4 1/2 hours, and 7 tyreshops just to find one that would do it (its Saturday, they all close at 11am and this was at 11.30 when he started looking. Jaks QuickFit eventually agreed to do it even though they were closed, so from now on lets all use Jaks) and a further 2 hrs before he even started looking for tyre shops to fix the paint.

The paint has blistered on the hood and roof and will cost upwards of $1000 to respray.

In the parking lot of student accomodation too, which is SUPPOSED to have security.

Josh.

Sorry to hear.(read) about dicks who have no respect for others property. Have experienced first hand the battery acid on paintwork test, unlicenced drunk driver smashing into 6 month old parked car, etc.

Some people, unfortunately, generally have nothing and have little idea about value/cost to repair. I hope they only thought this would be an inconvenience rather than malicious damage. It is of little comfort to you.

We all do stupid things when we are young (like losing control of cars when not driving for the conditions), fortunately we generally survive unscathed. For a minority, a moment of madness has more serious consequences e.g crashing or killing.

Cars are replacable. People are not.

It is frustrating, however you are ok.

Did you report the vandalism to the police? You should and listen out for people talking about it and have the police charge them so insurance will get their money back and it wont effect your rating

I will be reporting it to accomodation management.

And behave - hell yeah, everything you said....

I would personally go to the police aswell. What is uni security going to do? If you have a police report you can have it repaired under insurance and when the jerks get caught they foot the bill

I know how you feel same thing has happened to me, just be careful if you decide to get payback lol but best option is to tell the cops like everyone else has suggested.

To your CJ though?

The annoying thing is the passenger side door pillar...Below where its blacked out with the vinyl, theres a 2mm wide gap where it runs through to the bottom, underneath it. Got as much of it out with a safety pin as I could, but its impossible. and you have to be careful AS of the paint. (although its gonna need respraying anyway.)

yeah to my cj, it was keyed from the boot to drivers door and three eggs one on roof, one on drivers door and one across the bonnet, the one on the door started to trickle into the actually door and cause i have double skins of dynamat on all the doors it was absolutely crap to clean the inside up

Hmmm, sounds like you may need to get an intervention order taken against the husband.

yeah thats why im thinking its not just some random drunk, because if i was a random drunk i'd be aiming at the easy target on the street, or egg the entire parking lot. This guy/girl CHOSE my car.

I have a fair idea who it is, no motive or proof, just an MO. Well actually, I have motive, but no one would consider it motive worth egging someones car (I didnt tell the guy his missus cheated on him)
