It's been a bad day... .

My X-Factor Design folding mirror on the driver's side is faulty. Last Friday, I suspect someone bent the mirror around the other way and something in it snapped. Upon returning to my car, it'll fold on locking but won't unfold and emits a really loud buzzing noise. :(

Fortunately, I have gotten in touch with Shadows and he's going to repair it. Sending it back tomorrow. In the meantime have attached the original mirror.

Oh well.

When you lock the door, it folds in but it's not locked there, you can always turn it back out. I suspect, someone was having a look at it and folded it outwards and pushed it all the way till it flexed in the opposite direction to the fold. I cannot imagine Shadow's product just faulting by itself so I'm assuming someone f**ked around with it.

Whatever it is, it's f**ked. I just can't wait for Shadows to fix it and get it back now which brings to mind a thought, perhaps I should buy a spare 2nd set. *hmmm*

Mitsu actually produces auto-folding lights flashing side mirrors?

Yes.

Shadows/X-Factor is actually a Mitsubishi Tier 3 supplier.

Yeah I've had people stuff around with my mirrors at night a couple of times. I've found the mirrors folded outwards and just bent slightly and in my old CH lancer one morning I found the glass in the mirror smashed. If i hadn't had these bad experiences I would definately buy these auto-folding mirrors

I nearly ripped MINE off on a police car this morning. Ooops. (I didnt know it was a police car til I was past it, it was a big white paddy-van with no lights, just the word Police on the front and sides. and It had pulled over next to another car, and in front of THAT car was the actual police car)

My mate has a '94 Magna, and on the day before Christmas someone stole the mirror right out of its housing!
