Old classic cars you would love to own

Now we all love our lancers but do any of you have a classic car in mind that you would want to have?
I've always loved 60's to 70's american muscle cars but the one I would have is a 1968 camaro SS (427 probably) and paint I would go with a candy red or gloss black.
But I would put disc brakes, new suspension, 5 speed manual ect on it.
Now don't asume this is a thread for muscle cars, post anything you want, old merc's, rolls, evo's 1, 2 or 3 whatever and pics would be nice.

Well my dream is a 2 dr Datsun 1600, but they are next to impossible to find, and when you do they are big $$
I am a fan of old school Escorts. I am looking at a couple to do a resto project soon
A GTHO falcon would be sweet too. Another more realistic one would be an LA Lancer. Again, pretty hard to find one these days.

I've had a bit of a think about this and I have to agree with Jerryme.
For me: 260Z FTW!
JDM Goodness!
The Rocky Auto Carbonised S30 is insane!
If I don't do a good enough job selling it to you, perhaps this
young lady will.

For me a 1967 Shelby GT500 like mentioned before, but I would absolutely love a 1972 LJ GTR XU1.
My Dad has spent the last 12 years rebuilding a 1969 LC GTR Torana the same colour as this one in the picture, and every bit on that car is original, which is one reason why its taken him 12 years. He loves Google!
