Along with some Melbourne boys, we do alot of Tiesto and deadmau5.
Depeche Mode's - Music for the Masses has a good building beat in most of its tracks.
but if you like old school, anything by The Cars is pretty good too!

@StrkEagle: I can see that we are definitely very close in terms of music tastes as well. Cars , I rest my case... .
Re Depeche: Most under-rated UK band IMHO. Violator was dark and not enough of a rolling rhythm for driving. Music for the Masses and Black Celebration were better for that.
Re Electronic: Orbital would have to be in there too especially with Halcyon On+On

"A city without trees isn't fit for a dog!" Trees For Life
Just thinking what is on my ipod now....
Stone Temple Pilots
Grinspoon
Metallica
Linkin Park (earlier albums, the new ones suck)
U2
Liquid Sound Jar (local band made up of school mates, Chris Cornell/Soundgarden sound to them)
AC/DC
Billy Idol
The Cars
Pearl Jam
Faith No More
Nirvana
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
... that's all that I can think of off the top of my head. Metallica and AC/DC always gets me ready for work - nothing like a bit of Broken, Beat and Scarred or Highway to Hell to get you going on a Monday morning!

Trance Around the world
Anjunabeats
Oceanlab - fantastic.
Daughtry
Kings of Leon
Madcon
Kaskade
Drake
30 seconds to mars
Obie trice
And the list goes on - but for anyone who loves trance/house music I highly recommend: Above & Beyond - Oceanlab: Sirens of the sea remixed. Possibly the best trance album ever made.
