Removing Sikaflex

Postby bd-850 » Sun Feb 06, 2011 1:48 pm

well as the title says,

How can i remove stikaflex from my rear bar?

My diffuser decided to come off and has left the stikaflex behind, and im not going to put the diffuser back on because it has broken again.

My googling has resulted in using a "caramel wheel", which is an attachment for a drill. Not sure how reliable it is, but the Falcodore owners seem to like using that for sikaflex specifically.

I would peal as much off by hand as possible before using prepsol only.

Using some polish and a Lambs wool on a slow orbitale sander may help too.

Best of luck.
