these banners are being manufactured atm by lukeaday, the respective states should receive them in the mail before the next weekend.

each banner is 2400x600mm and the lettering is in the states primary colour.

the colours are a bit dull of course in the photochop image.
rest assured the end product will be shiny and the colour will be rich.

1 per state, they are good quality vinyl so they cost a pretty penny, so they need to be safe and secured like any club asset. I guess a snr mod or admin will have possession of them. Not sure if that means me, or Chubb for NSW.

If you organise a meet, I will usually be in attendance, however if I can't I guess the assets such as BBQ or banner would have to be arranged to be picked up for the day's event and returned. :)

OK that's fine Pete.

Then I guess You & Chubb will be attending the next big meet me & Hoges will be organising soon.

We went and checked out the location today and it will be good.
Here is a link of what I said the other day about it. Next Proposed NSW Meet Idea

Regards: Sam
PS: If you, me, Chubb & MiztaB attend, we may win Australia's Funny Home Video's.

I've noticed a couple of times now that other states seem to mention having club bbqs for use on cruises?
If these are private bbqs then nevermind.

Jake yes if there is a need but i dont feel WA needs one.... theres no point gettin what other states get if there is no need for it.... it would just drain funds that could be used elsewhere for a better purpose....

jake, no they are not private bbq`s, they are owned by the club.

if WA can use one, get your respective committee member to ask?

Yeah I'm not saying 'they get one so why don't we' :P
But... We've had bbqs before. And our cruises usually go over lunch time, and I think we would've had more bbqs if it wasn't so hard finding a free public one over the weekends when we cruise...

But I'm sure somebody in WA has a good portable one, its probably our own lazyness :P

We hae only started crusing during lunch time now

we used to only cruise on Friday nights remember, if we start to cruise more and maybe getting a BBQ wouldnt be that bad

to be honest I dont see the need for one,

yeah we will just borrow a portable bbq when we have a bbq cuz we hardly have much bbqs and if we do its at a public bbq... also we usually eat at fast food restaurants for lunch anyway so nvr saw the need to ask for one.... and don t worry jake i know you were'nt stirring.... just looks like it cuz itc just came about randomly on this thread is all :)

well, if u feel a club barbe would be of benefit, put it to the committee.

i cant see any reason why WA cant have one if it will be used.
