Nice!
I remember stumbling upon a website some time ago that made ASCII art like this, you uploaded a picture and it would somehow turn it into ASCII even in colour..

a cool must be like a pixel to ascii conversion, I guess once you got the conversion table sorted the programming would be very simple.
