some club members from a few yrs ago,where are they now??

Hey there was going thru some old posts using the search feature,looking at old cruise photos etcc,and i noticed a lot of member names that i dont see now posting,e.g there last post was maybe 12 -18 months ago.
Just wondering did they just leave the club?? or cancel there membership. ?? If you decide to leave the club are you supposed to let a moderator know so they cancel you???

Why are you planning on leaving. No you dont have to tell a mod.
Well some people sell their cars.
Most members though just get excited when they first get their car. They want to mod it. They use the club for information.
Then they get bored and stop attending cruises or visiting the site.
Life is like that.

Some members just drop off the site really, I personally fade in and out. One week i might make 10-15 posts, others ill make more and then others Ill make none.
Generally, people just leave. It doesnt make too much of a difference if you leave your account active or not really...

Various cases:
1. Banned
2. Changed cars
3. Lost interest
Most people just leave.
However, even those who are banned still come back to look on disapprovingly and occasionally pass a comment or two to make sure we still know they're "in charge".
We also have many one offs. Those who just come on when they need something then disappear.

Heh, I've never been to the club meets, only ever met 2 members, but I do read this site everyday or a couple of ties a week to see what's going on. Good for info.

Fair enough,and no plans to leave the club was just curious thats all. seen some names i didnt recognise when i was looking at some old posts.
think ill be here for some time yet

As Ofey has mentioned to me before, look at Ride of the Month winners.
Most of them are no longer active in the club.

I have been to a few club meets,and im looking forward to the one up in QLD next saturday. But each to there own
so much information on this site and a lot of helpful people as well

Friendliness is not the only reason. In a club, not everyone gets along. Opinions and egos are also pretty hard to control. Different people, different backgrounds so people just don't see eye to eye.
We've also banned people for cheating or financial misappropriation.

Fair enough well you need rules thats for sure otherwise things would get out of hand
