I have a 2009 VR, manual, $25250 I'm pretty sure it was, with the low rise spoiler and floor mats included. Make sure you bargain for the floor mats, it's pretty easy to get them included for free.
EDIT: Just noticed you're from Perth! Go to Paceway in Osborne Park and speak to a guy called Stuart, great bloke, very nice, and I was his very first sale since he started there
Ask him if he remembers Aaron or Richard Lee, and tell him we sent you

Paid $19500 for my 2009 VR manual, was a demo with 6000k's. If I wasn't on P's, I would be looking at a demo Ralliart, seen them as low as $30000 with <10000k's on the clock. Definitely worth it considering new VRX is "apparently" worth $32000.

A manual VR-X should be quite responsive, 0-100kph in the mid 7s. If you don't mind the lack of a sixth gear, this would be a great ride.

Brendan,
If you are planning on buying a brand new lancer of whichever model you definitely need to go to Paceway Mitsu.
if you want some tips on how not to get screwed there or at any other dealership here in Aust which is most likely given the appalling and criminal lack of car pricing info available to consumers compared to the US PM me for more details.
