Last "00" Active Topics

What happen to the Active Topics list, It was 15 and now its 10.
Why reduce the list ?
All it does is diminish the amount of reponse and interactive interest for members to involve themselves in.
It also limits subject diversity and variety that caters for a wider range of members interests.
Bring back 15 or even more.
Regards: Sam.

I'm more inclined with last 25! And the whole collapsable forum menu, I've never liked. There is no easy way to browse and see the last active thread in all of the forums, unless you click through each one, which is impracticle....
so +1 on what Uncle Sam said.

It's probably worse when Matt spams it with threads..

I would like to see it as an iframe (inline frame) so it can have more topics and scroll, it won't take anymore space than it did before.
Also what happened to mobile.clubcj.net?

We really should upgrade from phpBB2.0 to phpBB3.0, way more features and flexibility.
...and to boot, we can also use Tapatalk plugin on our phones!

Personally I'd like to see 15 restored, the news and events announcements as a list rather than a scrolling addin on the top left (which is buggy) and the old format without collapsable button lists to be honest. Like Pete said the buttons hide the content for easy browsing. And the announcements and news don't get the attention they deserve unless they are being bumped constantly.
As far as I know the reason why the buttons with collapsable sections were put in was due to previous server lag on the old server which is now resolved. I don't see any reason to keep that layout anymore.
This is just my opinion and perhaps the new comm when elected can present this to Matty to consider in the future. It's all we can ask constructively.

Like you say Nick with the " News and Events & Special Announcements "
e.g As Like at the Moment with the Nominations Posts , Would be a lot Better to have These Up at all Times "If possible " , As These Important Posts can easily Be Missed with Them Dropping Down .

I tend to agree with the above comments also
15 plus is way better on the Active Topics List
I liked the old format much better too
I feel the former layout was much more user friendly and way easier to navigate in my opinion
Matti kudos for being innovative - but the tribe has spoken, can it be reviewed post election?
Not a complaint just a constructive critisism, the lag is gone, so no real reason to maintain the collapsible formats.

I want 15 back at least too.
Some days we got the 15th thread being only 2 hours old. Its annoying. I'd like a scrollable list with anywhere up to 50... It'd be awesome for the less-active of us too. If you visit every second day you could still see everything thats happened in that time...
Its a pain being in WA, we're the furthest from the majority of you all so we tend to post a little later, often our threads get lost in a flood of posts in the morning from the Eastern States

""" the tribe has spoken, can it be reviewed post election? """
there was an election on this??
on topic tho - i like the 10-list, as it fits the page better, but i really think 25 topics, on a scroll bar might be better. hot topics are the 1st place i look. 2c.
