Hi guys,
I just got a quote from Tempe Tyres on Kumho KU31s and their super cheap compared to any other shops here in Melbourne so i'd like to ask if anyone had any past experience with them , good or bad.
Cheers

is that also factoring in postage?

yes , even considered the fitting and balancing bit and yet the price from tempe tyres is alot cheaper. Would prefer to buy it locally but the price difference is big

i have had absolutely no experience with them,,, but i have read about them being careless with peoples rims. not just one off story either.
so if youve got expensive rims,,,,,,,
really its your choice.

I found them fairly easy to deal and I live in Brisbane. Had them to ship me a set of wheels and tires without any problems

DO NOT TOUCH THEM!!!
I had huge issues with their service and quality of product, the tyres are terrible!
If you search in google "tempe tires customer review" a opel forum comes up that I used to me a member of, read the review before purchasing!

I went in there once, they ignored me for 20mins and when someone finally served me, they were rude and arrogant.
I will never go back there.
Ozzy seem alright ( some good, some bad feedback from my mates ).
Taleb seem to have nothing but positive feedback, plus they are a sponsor.

Tempe and Taleb are supposedly owned by cousins and they both sell oddgey grey imports.
Nothing specifically wrong with proper Australian Kumhos, but the ones Tempe sell are designed for often designed for colder north American or European climates sio often they have different grades of rubber and narrower steel belts. Narrower steel belts I am told are great for better handling but they simply dont cope with Australian temperatures and causes overheating in the tyres. My Kumho's from Tempe started shredding their sides off, my GF got hers from a family friends business and has had no worries....
Bottomline is when buying Tyres check the brands website and make sure the Tyre shop is listed as an approved dealer of their tyres, if it's not move on then!!
