Exhaust giveaway

Postby CjChad » Sun Aug 15, 2010 10:03 am

hey guys, i have a stock exhaust system from a 2010 mitsubishi lancer es just lying around at home and want to get rid of it. its everything from the manifold through to the muffler so who ever wants it can have it for free.
the exhaust has only done about 3000km. the muffler also has the mitsubishi chrome tip on it.
its also a stainless steel system

cheers

I think exaltd will want this. Just wait for him. With his new course, this will be useful practice for him... .

Alright, depends on exaltd then. If its just the rear muffler, dont worry about it, but if its the whole system id be interested.

Ofey do you know if exaltd needs the stainless steel specificly?, coz if he doesnt he can just have mine?

tadz0rz: Why do you need this I'm wondering? This is an ES exhaust muffler and piping. You have an ES with exhaust piping and muffler.

Pretty sure the MY09s and MY10's have a different rear muffler (presumably quieter and more restrictive) compared to the MY08s. Well from the ones I have seen they have been very different from my MY08's rear muffler...

So for people with MY08 CVTs that go moooo it might help quieten them down a bit....

So Tadz's ES exhaust pipework is not SS but CJChad's ES has SS?
I thought all of the cars regardless of year provided SS pipework?

I will take it. Good practice for me to interchange the exhaust system.

New ones are polished or something.
I get asked all the time what kind of exhaust I have because mine looks so much shinier than most (I have stock) :P
And the muffler is slightly more visible on SBs, making it more prominent.
