Yes i know most of you won't have kids but I am blessed with 2.

My 3yr old son is Car/Bike/anything with wheels and a motor mad.

He has been around my mild obsession with fast cars since day one. He knows what an Evo VI looks like and that its different to an R33 GTR.

This is the discussion he and I had when i got my EVO X...

Me: Lachlan, this is my new car
Lachlan: is this an evo?
M: yes. Its not like the ones i have pictures of though - its new
L: it has a turbo though like them
M: yes it does. Why?
L: Rory the racing car has a turbo
M: Does he?
L: Yes he does. Racing cars have turbos.
M: Do they?
L: Yes they do - your Evo must be a racing car!!!

Thats my boy!

Too bad when he gets his license he has to wait a few years before he can get a turbo

not in WA at the moment! Its open season to my knowledge...

He also insisted on a new car seat while in the Evo - we went and bought a high backed booster that has the wrap around head rest and what not which he calls his 'recaro booster'

My daughter who is 5 next month loves it when I put the accellerater to the floor. The engine revs to about 6000, because of the CVT.

She laughs her head off because she thinks we are going fast. We of coarse are not it is only the engine.

Glad my boy is not the only petrol head under 15...

He usually accompanies his screams with 'FASTER DADDY FASTER!!!'

Not about CJ's, but as a youngster (a younger youngster ) I used to spend car trips pointing out 'broom-broom cars'

And Mum! She used to call trucks 'f-word's

My 7 year old daughter points out all CJ lancers with. Hey Dad, Look there is a Lancer like ours, but i don't think its lowered. It has nice wheels though.

Kids ? In MY Lancer ?
