I Rolled the work ute hehe

For those that didn't read about it yesterday either on here or on Facebook, I rolled the work ute, a Mitsubishi Triton.

Long story short, had to swerve to avoid a truck, front left wheel in a ditch, pulling ute into wall, hit wall, spun around and flipped over.

I'm ok, just a few minor cuts on my arm and hand from the glass window when it shattered.

I went down to the panel beaters where the Triton is sitting to take some pictures of it, and also I returned to the scene of the accident to take a picture of the wall I hit.

The images are high resolution to preserve details so I'll just link the thumbnails here. Click to see full size.

The ute came out pretty good :)
Great that you're ok. I think most people have been cut off by trucks before. Just sucked you had nowhere to go.

I think all CCJ members should just stay inside for a week or so... :P

I agree with the staying inside bit :D

I thought the ute would have been worse than that. I for one am glad you are ok :D

It's not that badly damaged as the speed of the whole incident was only 20-30kph approx. It was not fast at all as I had only just taken off from an intersection and rounded the very blind corner. It was wet so I was going slow.

Wow, I'm impressed with how the ute held up - given how most utes have a terrible crash rating. Glad to hear you made it out ok!

It will be a write off

$18,000 damage, PLUS auto electrical work, PLUS windscreen, PLUS sign writing. So probably close to $20,000

Does curse apply to him? Its still a Mitsubishi. Down here Repco have Lancers aswell, do Repco have Lancers for work cars up in Queensland too? Dont drive for a week, your brain will be abit rattled for a few days

The Tritons are generally Branch Manager's and Hub Manager's cars.

The Lancers are the Area Account Manager's cars.

Area managers and upwards have unmarked Commodores.

Not when you have no room to flick the tail out, nor in the wet :P

I had to avoid him as he was about half over into my lane

Ed: Jamez, you would know the corner well ;)
