I'ts The Final Countdown!
7 Days from today Tadz will be going for his P's!
Been a long journey to get here, got my licence on June 4th 2008, Got my Lancer July 31st 2008 and its finally coming to the time when I actually go for my licence! Driven nearly every day since I got my licence and ive easily clocked up more than a thousand hours! Managed to make the required 120 hours in around 3 months
Wish me luck!!!!

Ahhh, I remember going for my licence... Geez, they offered it too my on my 2nd learners lesson LOL... Helps when you learn to drive young! Although, maybe not a good thing to be told "you drive like a bloke" HAHA... or is it??
Remember - check all your mirrors and turn your head! (Advice given to me lol...)

Me too ben haha. I just went into Vic roads to get my logbook checked. I have to rewrite the whole thing again. I rewrote the entire book once before and we tore out the pages coz we didn't think we needed them. Since pages were missing they can't accept the book even though I still had kept the pages

I went to vic roads today to get them to go over my log book which ive written out 3 times to make sure everything was okay. Since i had mates over the other night for my birthday, somehow they got my printer ink all in my log book but they said its okay because it doesnt interfear with any of the entries
pretty funny because im fretting moer about the learner log book than i am the actual driving test
Does anyone have any tips on parralel parking? I dont like to do it because of my wheels lol

You be fine as long as you treat it like any other time out driving. Except for making up for that 10% difference in the speedo that the Lancers have. Do that and you be waiting another 3months. Try not to be nervous though, if you turn that steering wheel, put the indicator on and use all your mirrors.
I failed my first attempt. It was hilarious. I was that nervous. Had lesson just before the test and was fine, test time came and I was that nervous I forgot my date of birth. It was a disaster before I even got in the car. Everything I was told not to do I ended up doing majority of them. I almost threw up twice, my driver instructor asked if I was ok during the test as I went as white as anything. The test person in the back asked me to turn left and I turned right. The guy wanted me to turn into a street but from a handbrake start from a stop sign on this bit of a hilly street and I stalled it. He got me to do it again with out the handbrake start and I stalled it again in the same spot By then I had had enough and wanted to go home. By then I had well and truly cracked it. Started the car back up and floored it. Front wheels were having a fun time in the little Civic. Complete disaster.
Second time at it went perfect, not one thing wrong. Not one bit nervous on the second attempt. Didnt even have a drifting session during the test either

Yeah the test im pretty much fine in i rekon, its just im worried i might get failed on some stupid technicality like not looking in the mirrors enough or something. I always use my side mirrors but i have a habbit of not always using my rear view. I find that the side ones are big enough to do without the rear vision most of the time....
I guess we'll just see how we go

Hey Tadz best of luck for tomorrow mate
Slow and easy, and remember indicators, mirrors and looking over your shoulder when required.
Listen to the tester and follow his instructions and you will ace it
Relax and enjoy it mate, its just another trip in the car and the "P"s will be on your car before you know it!
You've got this pal all the best - Chris.
