it could be simple, most parts would be the same like the airbag plug, but whether the steering boss of the evox and of the vrx are the same only adrian would know as he breaths the manual.

it seems logical to be the same, but they may be different.

yer but why pay $400 for a steering wheel without a airbag, that also cost about $300

lol i hear that he sleeps with it under his pillow and often recites various sections of it when he thinks no one is listening.

I've already done this to my VRX. Straight swap. Don't by from Mitsubishi unless you have $2000 to spend on a steering wheel.

The airbag alone is worth $1000 from Mitsubishi, The Steering wheel controls $80- 100 each side and then the wheel itself $600 -800. $2000 RRP. Trade price could drop it to $1500.

What's special about the Evo wheel though? Just leather right? Or is it smaller?

my vrx wheel is leather, but the evo wheel is much nicer, its more sporty like a wheel from a mazda rx8 rather than 'family car' like. :)

Thanks Shaun. I really gotta do a comparison more closely with a non-Evo wheel. I've seen alot at meets but never really driven with them much other than when I test drove the 2L and the RA.
