Yea, unfortunately there has to be some low lifes out there making money from scamming people. Regardless, even paypal may not have been able to refund all the money (I have gone through cases myself where paypal refuses to do anything - until I talk about the ACCC )

I really feel for this guy. Makes me want to go visit him myself and look around. But yeh good on Matt (the buyer) for being transparent and updating everyone on the happenings. The reality of eBay.
