Now i know that we are supposed to love our Mitsu's here, and believe me i do... but... anyone remember the days when Mitsu was referred to as "bitsamissin"? When they really didn't make desirable cars such as our CJ's?

Check this site out for a LOL at the old days...

http://www.sigmalovers.com/sigmalovers_001.htm

"As enthusiasts of the Mitsubishi Sigma we are pleased to present some of the history and specific model information on this wonderfull car."

Surely they can't be serious? IMO this was the single worst car Mitsu ever made, next to the old Magna's!

Opinions?

:( Too true, Laura ....... I'm also on a bike forum and posted a pic of my "new toy" and the "bitsamissin" quote came up. Obviously, they only remember the bad and haven't kept up.

Very true and sad really that people do only remember the bad... but it's all good. Most of those people are bogan Commo or Ford drivers, and i can put paid to their misguided ideas of Mitsu when i leave them choking on my dust in the RA :D

Actually, though these were quite bad.... Mitsu came up with the Galant of the day which I hear from a friend served him very well.

He had many good stories to tell, and not a word of criticism for it.

One funny one that comes to mind is the time where he owned a Commodore when he went around the corners near Wagga, and the Commodore ended up flying over the edge because he didn't know the roads well enough, and the Commodore had no real steering :P

Mitsu win :)

When the 2.6L Astron engine was first released in Australia it produced more horsepower per cc then the Australian V8s made by ford and Holden. I've had several scorpions in my time and they just kept on running even with blown rings and no oil.
