How comfortable is your Lancer?

So I was at a party last night and was drinking for a while but then stopped drinking at around 10pm and was going to head home around 1:30-2am but decided against it because the area was infested with police and didn't want to risk having ANY alcohol left in my system whilst driving so I stayed there the night.

The only spare bed and couch was taken so I did what my mate parked next to me was doing... slept in my car :P

It was more comfortable than what I thought it would be, I'm fairly tall so I was laying across the back with my legs sort of in the rear footwell in an awkward position but I was tired so it wasn't too bad. Towel as a pillow wasn't the greatest though :P

I'm thinking next time I should travel with pillow/covers and put the rear seats down and sleep in the boot but I don't think that'll happen any time too soon :P

Anyone else slept in their Lancer? what were your thoughts on comfiness?
(Christening the car doesn't count because you're still awake :P  )

I'm 5'6" so it isn't too bad of a problem for me. It's pretty comfortable on leather seats as well... .

I'm about 6'8"ish, maybe even 6'10" but I'm not too sure lol, I've tried the drivers seat down once when I was locked outside but It didn't seem to work for me. Cloth trim here too.

I also woke up with "Ford for the MF Win" written on my arm in permenant marker lol

I would have though it would be more comfortable and room with the back seats lying down. You would put your feet in the boot and your head on the back seat.

On some older cars you could lie the front seat back and it would sit flat with the back seat.

Either way I am too old to sleep in cars or any thing else.

VW Beetle, drop the front seats down, fold the back seat down and you have a double size bed :P

I would imagine the sportsbacks would be good for sleeping in.

ohh it would be, didn't think of that!

I tried sleeping with the seats folded down at a cruise once though, mates bmw was having immobiliser issues so I stayed back for 3 hrs and waited for the RAC lol, it wasn't that comfy but with a pillow it could work

Haha ive slept in the lancer on several occasions. Quite comfy :). The best time though is when I took a power nap during university in the car when people came to knock on my window to check if I was alive lol.

Oh yeah and I always keep a sleeping bag and a pillow in the boot. Sometimes girls like the lancer a great deal ;)

I've camped in my sport back. With the backseats folded down flat I was able to fit a full king size matress in the back.

I'm around 5'9" and as long as the front seats are moved forward a bit I can stretch out all my limbs out fully.

Was comfy as!

:D

Whatya talkin' 'bout, Willis?

I sneak a bit of a power nap during my 1 hr break on night shifts. Recline the passenger seat flat, get my super comfy blow up... pillow with a terry towling sleeve and catch a few ZZZssss. Either on my back and on my side. Lancer, a pleasant thing to wake up next to. :)

The Lancer always seems more comfortable when you have someone to share it with.... :D
