I am planning on coming to Sydney for 4 weeks in our winter nov, dec, jan, time to plan a more permanent move.
But i want to look for some accommodation like a villa type place so i can bring my whole family and sample what it would be like to live there.

I will also be looking for work when i am over so if there is anyone on here who is in construction who could point me in the right direction the help would be great.

Seriously > Contact real estate agents. Rental homes are what you're looking for.

hey, I'm a real estate agent from Melbourne.

Are you looking to buy in the future or just rent?

If you are renting then a large apartment should be suitable. Otherwise..

If your intentions are to buy, might i suggest a Unit (subdivided property). Units are big enough for a family but still affordable. Also another advantage of buying a unit is that the value of the land will increase much more than an apartment would , depending on the area of coarse. Be aware of any body corp. charges as they will be an extra cost for you.

I am a painter and decorator/ plasterer. So would be looking for something in that trade area.

When i come over it would be a holiday for the rest of my family. Could you rent somewhere for 1 month ?

When i move i would Probably rent at 1st. Somewhere decent,
