My Baby got hurt

I was in my car (my baby) and I don't normally go north of perth but i wanted to see something, coming back to the city i took the wrong entrance and went to East perth instead of the city centre. Anyways i found an off ramp from this freeway and i stopped at some lights to turn right and there is one car next to me. My lane has arrows to go straight or turn right (i'm on the left side of a four way intersection) and the right side must turn. Anyhow, the light and turning arrow are green I start to go and turn, next thing I know. Bump !!. I turned into this white Mercedes C200 which hit my rear right door. It went straight when the arrow on the road and it's lane say it MUST turn right !!. Good thing was nobody was hurt, it was maybe around 20 kph. the damage to my car was a dent in that door and the back of the right side skirt. No airbags deployed at the small impact
My poor girl, I'll get her taken care of asap

Man that sucks :(

Get in today to get photos taken etc as the smash repairers close over the christmas period.

They will sort it out for you, it is just a shame it will take a bit of extra time.

when i take a photo of the car i would probably also put the date stamp on the picture just as a little bit of extra info.

but that sucks, and over chrissy too.

Hope you get something really good to make your day tomorrow :)

Sorry to hear about this and I hope it does get fixed up quickly for you.

I'm afraid I don't know any good smash repairers/panelbeaters that will be open over christmas, might have to check with the insurance company

Exact same thing happened to my mate at Pennant Hills Rd/North Rocks Rd in Sydney... right lane can only turn right, but left lane can go left/straight/right. He turned right from the left lane (as he could) but the car on the right tried to go straight and wham into the back right (of his Civic).

So sorry to hear. And that's just plain stupidity from the other driver. What was the excuse they gave? Probably not from around the area but I'd be concerned if they were.

Very good no one was hurt!! Hope the little one isn't too shaken.

No good to hear mate.. And definately not the best time for such thing to happen, some people really don't concentrate whilst driving and it's always the responsible drivers that get caught up in these delemmas..

So sorry to hear about your baby getting damaged.. best to get that done asap in the new year..

Best of luck with it mate

Ouch, good to have cameras (on phones or in regular) in the car... as long as no one is hurt, best to get images straight away... That turn looks as obvious as anything, but as mentioned above, there are absent minded drivers everywhere.

Hope it is looking new in no time!
