Oran Park going broke or what?!?

Came across this tonight... stunned me. It looks like the whole of Oran Park is for sale!

What's up? Are they broke? Are they doing a major upgrade? Are they going for good?

Also, who owns Oran Park? Are they in trouble?

So many questions.... sorry about that. I'm just a little dazzled by this.

On a light note, I'll take the bridge and the pit lane!

The Land was sold for a housing development. Shame really.

The same is destined for Eastern Creek Circuit

ARGGGHHHH........ stupid housing developments.......

Waste..... waste...... waste..... some Asian (yes I love bagging my own race, because I can ) is porbably gonna end up paying way over the top for housing in the developmnent.... and us car enthusiasts are losing out.....

Shame.... real shame....... less places to road trip to to have fun on a track

Eh? Eastern Creek Raceway is an international raceway! Why would they shut it down? And aren't they looking at updating the raceway with a new layout?

QLD lost Lakeside Raceway, but it's not developed yet. Will be soon though.

Willowbank Raceway/Queensland Raceway won't be built out... Nobody wants to live out there! (Apologies in advance to the member we have who lives out there )

Yeah sold it to government to develop, houses are already starting to be built around it, it is a shame.
Adrian Eastern Creek wont go cause no one wants to live there lol its around brick pits and massive factorys lol
Also with Oran Park all those pit upgrades they did like 2 3 years ago are all demountable and there are rumours that the owner has more land somewhere.

I heard that Eastern Creek was getting an upgrade
Now that the V8s have come to Homebush,things can only get better in NSW
Oran Park is a sad loss though
