If you had all the money in the world , which JDM car would you buy to POWAHH it up and why !

Evo 10 cause it's just great all around.

Personally I would have:

1 Evo from every model 1-X and a Skyline R32, and R35 GTRs

I'd get an Evo 9. Despite all the new functionality in the X, I still think the 9 commands "real" respect. I probably would drive that as a weekend car and have a R35 as a daily driver.

Have to say Evo X... but...

I'd also:
a) pay to have speed limiters put into all P plater's cars (so they can't accelerate when you try to pass them due to perceived sense that their car is better)
b) pay for the application of 'visual aids' to SUV's in the hope it will limit them changing lanes without looking... maybe some kind of electronic system that chimes in with "Oi, dufus there's a car there!" and have it so it /can't/ be turned off
...

cool choices guys , i've always been an evo boy since young, must be influenced by those jackie chan movies

when i have the money, i'd definitely get an evo, either the IX or the X, like an aim in life

above it all , the GTR would be the best option for insane power imo but it depends how you wanna do it

Evo 9 and JDM the hell out of it... or wait for more Evo X mods to come out.

If not... maybe a Mugen Civic Type R.. too bad we dont get it in Aus =[

I think it's always good to fantasize. However reality is where we're at.

I'd want to ask, realistically at the time you bought your CJ, was there really anything else better that you could have gotten for your hard earned?

I was looking to spend under A$34K in Apr 2007. Not much else you could have gotten then that fitted my criterion:
1. Made in Japan
2. Sporty
3. GPS built in
4. > 5 yr warranty
5. Large offering of aftermarket parts
6. Sedan or Coupe NO Hatch
7. Brand new

On hindsight I should have bought a low KMs 2nd hand 350Z or Subaru Liberty but I'm glad I made the choice I did.

If I were buying now and had A$34K still, what would I have bought?

Personally if I had $34k to spend on a new car, I would get an RA sportback. Might need to push a couple more grand true.

I want to start taking my mountain bike places which the SB would be perfect for, plus my golf clubs etc.

R35 for me as a daily driver, no mods

No it isn't.......Corvette ZR1 is the fastest. Porsche and Nissan can't come near it!!!

And with my $45k back that I spent on my car, I would probably have bought at 06-07 Black STI sedan (36k) , or an R34 GTR...Nice midnight purple for around $42k on carsales.

There is only one choice. R35GTR This car is in a different league especially for its heafty weight. You would have to spend another 150K to find something in a similar league
