Never google symptoms

Postby Graham » Mon Nov 16, 2009 8:50 pm

Everything leads back to something bad.

I have had a blocked ear since Friday and it hurts ALL the time and feels blocked, I've had A LOT of ear problems (specifically this ear) where it's been infected and I've been to the hospital a few times because of it.

I've tried the whole block your nose and blow thing but it does nothing
earbuds or q-tips do nothing
washing it with warm water does nothing
using those ear candles do nothing but make it hurt more.

Google seems to think I have Swimmers Ear.

Moral of the story is:

If you google symptons you'll probably find something way worse than what your problem is :P

DO NOT BE TAKING MEDICAL ADVICE FROM THE INTERNET, SEE A DOCTOR NOW!

Indeed. Beware what you read on the net. The last thing you want to do is to treat yourself with some random treatment...

Get the doc to stick one of those big ass syringes in your ear and see all the grose crap that comes out. I bet there is a google images search for it too!! :)
