F1 coffee table
Wanted something a little different for a coffee table and this was the result....
Its a certified raced 2008 Honda Jenson Button/ Rubens Barichello wheel with 10mm toughened glass on top.

I am thinking of launching a new line of motorsports parts and memoribilia (Shamrock Racing). So I'm keeping my suppiler under raps for now.
This is our 1st test piece which I wanna keep
What would you pay for something like this? Would you buy something like this or know someone who would? I'm gauging interest to see if its even worth while. Please note this is a unique used piece of F1 history with certificate, custom cut 10mm toughened glass which costs over $200 on its own.
Your feedback would be much appreciated.

Wow that is awesome.
What is even more awesome is that your wife/sig other let you put it in the house or do you live alone?????
Usually the women hate that kinda guy's stuff.
A bit like the wagon wheel coffee table scene in 'When Harry Met Sally", the guy loved it and his new partner thought it was hideous and wanted to burn it so it ended up in the trash. LMAO.

Atm I can't afford anything since I'm out of work, but depending on what car it is off and who drove the car I think $300+ would be reasonable for the wheel on its own.
I remember seeing a wheel including the tire off one of Michael Schumacher F1 cars going for around $300 but that was back in 97ish.
Still regretting not buying that.

SHMRCK, you live just down the road from me lol i usually see your car parked in the driveway but you never come out to the bunker meets?? should come one night..
But as for the table i think it would be of interest to those that like to collect racing memorabilia but people will definately need to have a decent sized wallet i'd assume

Made it to the 1st Birthday bash earlier in the year but finding time especially for the next 4 months is especially hard as there is soooo much going on. All good stuff, just need an extra 4 hours in the day
Hmm. Just plucking numbers out of the air, but a genuine raced wheel like this, could be well over $1000? I'm not sure what sort of price it would draw because I don't know how valued F1 authentic memorabilia is, but it would not surprise me if it went for a bit.
If it were just an F1 wheel with no significance behind it I would be thinking something near $800?
The man (or woman) who is willing to buy something like this is obviously not doing it for the practicality, so price is probably not a concern. "I see it, I like it, I want it". $800 seems reasonable
