Oooh nice nice, I love VOX amps there so much fun to muck around with The only effects my marshall has is overdrive, reverb and distortion But it does those three bloody good! Cool colour fender you have too, what have you modified on it?
Im just using el cheapo strings I got from my local guitar store The difference from good strings to cheap strings is only very minimal imo... Its all about how you play it and how the axe is tuned... Though, I think they need changing more often

Yeah I was considering buying that VOX or the Marshall when I was in the market for one, looks like I bought the wrong one
I havent done anything to my guitar yet, since it cost me 1250 dollars its pretty good standard xD but hey, I got a free ukelele (sp?) thrown in with it thanks to my awesome bargaining skills LOL

Guitar = best instrument ever created
I've been playing for about 5 years completely self taught.
I'm not very good but I can play almost anything that I read.
I focus on guitar solos
Yesterday I learnt half of "Every rose has its thorn" by poison, haven't got around to finishing it off yet.
I play an Ibanez S series Guitar and a Line 6 Spider Valve 212.
Guitar cost me around $1400 and amp was $2200
I also have three other amps and 4 other guitars which I rarely use.
Including a BC Rich Mockingbird (Acrylic Ice) which is seethrough, but it weights a ton!
I want an Ibanez Jem (the one Steve Vai plays) and a ernie ball guiatar that John Petrucci uses

Nope, it has the dots on there, but they're sort of rainbowy reflective, the pearl inlaid ones I think - I can't remember the exact model number it's a really random one
Oh, I also want Alexi Laiho's guitar which is an ESP LTD STD if I remember correctly..
And Dimebag Darrels Razorback
EDIT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KwaFIT_HPRQ That's a Jem and a cool guitar solo, randomly found it on youtube I was searching for it for ages a while back but coudn't find it!

For strings i dont use anything but ernie ball's.
Depends what you play which size though.
When i play Metal, i use my Gibson Sg with Heavy bottom and slinky top. Gives really powerful power chords through the bottom end and screaching highs for any solo's
If im playing normal alternative genre's without too much distortion you cant go past Hybrid slinky's, i've got these on my Fender american custom ash.
Rememer to always wipe your strings down after every session, so dead skin doesnt build up and the oil from your fingers dont ruin the string, can make your string last up to three times longer.

Oh. my. god. are you talking about that see through one where its all spiky and its from Kosmic sound? That one was coooool youve certainly spent a lot on your guitars havent you?
You know would be my dream guitar though? Gretch White Falcon oh and i also saw a $70,000 banjo the other day, thats just going over the top if you ask me
Thanks for the tip Barry, I usually wipe my strings before/during play and not after!
That's the one, Leez
Yeah I bought most of them back before I had my license lol, now most my spare dollar goes on the car
$70,000!! wow! I know Kosmic in osbourne park have a $25k SRV guitar, it'd be more of a collectable than a playing guitar though I reckon
