This is a pretty outstanding effort to get a car onto a roof from a simple mound of dirt.... tsk tsk.....

Everyone knows only CJ drivers can get air and get away with it!!
(And it's usually in an off road scenario)

Man, i had a look at the video, and all i can say is wow. Either the house must have been lower than the road or the mound was really high and they were driving really really fast.
If you watch rally etc, even when there driving over crests at like 100 km/h they do get airborne, but not like enough for them to land on top of a house.

I think the house was lower than the road... the house is on a different street to the one the Commodore was driving on...
That would make more sense.

Google Street View FTMFW.
Click here (Then go to street view on Sunnyholt Road near the Green Roofed house)
Pan around. You can see the traffic islands near the traffic lights. Then you can see the mound of dirt (garden) up against the fence. Then you can see the green roofed house where he landed. Done.

They should ban this L-plater for life. Too bad no rule is good enough to keep them from driving like that. The more restrictions there are the more people want to go fast, controllable or not. There should really be a full restructuring in Australian motoring, from the day a youngster gets behind the wheel to the licence test to cash-converting speed cams.
