pictures?

ok this is makeing me feel retarded. and i seriously hate that. but im trying to post pictures in the thread and its not letting me? i do what it says the whole 
and all it does is show the opening and closing code and the url? what am i not doing?
EDIT : okay nevermind...not sure why it wasn't working but its working now and i didnt do anything different
