The things women do ....

Postby Loki » Thu Aug 06, 2009 11:58 am

Recently my girl bought a Fiesta LX. Only an auto 1.4L and I personally find it's performance .... well, lacking, but she loves it so that's all that matters. Since I earn a considerable amount more than her I took over the repayments/insurance costs on the car for her. They're minimal, only about $100 a week. I love her, it's what we do.

She comes over the other day and asks if I can put a sticker on her back window. I say yes, wondering what she's got.

And here it is .....

I guess I don't mind so much as it's good advertisement if we break up that I take care of my women.

Just wondering if anyone else has a gf that likes to "show off". This is the first one I've had that's done it.

I wonder if your woman looks after you then *wink*

If she does, I think it's definitely worth it... .

I am not a fan of the Brand Stickers down the side of the car... but I would laugh my butt off at a Centrelink sticker lol

If I had thought of that. Would have put a centerlink sponsor sticker on my car. But now I have a job. :-)

Years and Years ago in Newcsatle when the town scene wasn't ruined by idiots and teen girls with no moral instinct it was the land of milk and honey ... and oil. We used to dump used oil at an exit to Nobby's carpark and sit back and watch the cars smoking it up (cars with no chance without the oil) and the police used to take hours to bother with coming and stopping us).

There was a sticker frenzy that swept the foreshore.

"******** MOTORSPORTS" stickers.

The funniest I seen was a late 80's model Ford Laser which had removed it's springs and was just running on shocks and he'd put CENTRELINK MOTORSPORTS on his back window. Heaps of others too.

CARDBOARD MOTORSPORTS (Cars which would come in town with a cardboard bodykit stickytaped on).

Good times. It's a shame those times are over :(

Haha, my mate used to have a 82 Laser with the Laser sports cams and dual carbies. Did the engine in it went and got one for the wreckers and we realised it was only the 1300 rather than the 1500.... still went well with the cams etc used to rev very nicely!!!

Ahh the memories, I remember going to the entrance with my mate when I was only about 14 in his rally car to the entrance and we would all just talk cars and crap. Didn't cause any drama, but then the cops came and ended the party along with idiots :(
