Hey, so tonight I spent some time and took off the remaining badges from the car (Except the diamond for now). after I got them off, in one piece, there was a lot of the tape left over, nothing got it off easy, so I heated it up and slowly picked it all off, took about an hour or so. I now have it all off, and there is none, from what I can tell on the boot, except, when you look closely, you can still see the outline from the badge, its very faint, but I know its there, so its obvious to me lol.

Just wondering, is this normal? I mean, its a hard spot to clean its possible its just dirt etc that has been built on, but I tried cleaning it off and could not, any info on what could be used to remove the remaining outlines etc?

its a simple fix
just wash your car and go over that particular area with polish or even better if you have access to it a buffer
that should remove the feint outline of the badge
ive debadged a lot of cars so im talking from experience

Ahh sweet, thanx for the quick response, I did wash the entire boot, but I haven't polished or waxed yet because I still want to do the diamond. Thanx.

No RA badge sorry, just the Evolution, MR, Lancer and the Diamond.

Agreed. A good wash and polished or wax over will remove the remaining marks.

Disc brake cleaner or carby cleaner works too - alcohol in an aerosol can that removes dirt and residue then evaporates away. Then a wuick wipe, wash n polish - welcome to no badges.
