I'm going to make a leap of faith and suggest that some of us get confused over this question - so heres a very good article (not a bad site either) that will demystify it for those facing this conundrum,,,,

Coils are better but they are also my techical and require more thought and research.
What spring rates will u use (how many people will be in the car, road cond ect)
Do you want top quality
Will you be a regular on the track

I whent with Racing Logic coil covers and running 10kg springs in front a 8kg in rear due to road cond around here and i also carry a heavy tool box some times

I've both had coilovers and springs, springs were ok but more of a bumpy ride. Coilovers were a better option however if not set up right, can chew thru tyres like there's no tomorrow,I'm back on stock springs now and enjoying the comfort and my front bar is scrape free

hmm - my car is stock at moment - so am considering options - Im thinking priorities for me are

budget
looks
performance (handling)

I do thrash a little but not that much tbh - and use the car as family car also - leaning towards springs for me I think
