I know theres a group buy going on right now for a dash camera which is very nice quality I must say, but for those of us who dont have the cash or are looking for an alternative, a friend of mine recommended this one:

Although obviously not as refined as the blackvue, it looks pretty nice. The thing that got me was that it records both front and back and provides useable files and that i can use it as a reversing camera as well haha (albeit a 2' screen reversing camera, but a reversing camera none the less).
