Quick question??? Has anyone been told any thing about this oil when purchasing it?
Not to long ago I went to buy some and the dude asked me what car it was for, so I told him. Then he looked it up in his book to make sure and he said that it won't suit our cj lancers. Apparently the Castro edge sport was good but now its changed to the titanium, its slightly different and not as good. Will be OK for the older early 2000 model lancers but not 2007+..
Can anyone confirm this or does this dude have no idea what he's talking about?

Dude is talking crap.
As long as the oil conforms to the standards as per your manual - it is fine.
The Castrol Edge Sport now Castrol Edge Titanium 5w30 is corformant to the API SL/CF and ACEA A3/B4 standards.
API - i think is the American Petroleum Industry Standard and the ACEA is the European competitor of the same body but for Europeans - that have set standards for oil grade/thickness, etc.
So in short - this oil is fine....
If in doubt. Click the oil selector on this page http://castroledge.com.au/oils/

The car manual is king as long as the oil meets or exceeds the required standards you are safe.... Mitsu cant say jack about your warranty by blaming the oil type if the engine blows up.

I remember looking an Penrite a long time ago. I think their HPR 5 conformed but I could not find a 5w30 - they only made a 5w40 for that rating of oil - and not wanting to dick around with my warranty - i played it safe and found an oil that met both the ratings and the grade requirements as set out in the manual.
