I tend now to never put my mobile phone and my car keys in the same pocket any more after one of my smart keys wouldn't start the car when in close enough proxmity, it would unlock the can but not start it! Had the smart key replaced under warranty (good job as a new one was over $400 to buy and program it at the time).

I always used to put my Lancer keys in the same pocket as my phone, but since having the smart key replaced I never do anymore because this is why I reckon it stopped working and I have heard similar issues with other branded cars too!

I never have my keys and phone in the same pocket. I'm always afraid of the keys scratching the screen of the phone, so it has since become a habit to place them in different pockets.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note and never had this issue. If it ever happens I will make sure I separate the two :)

Maybe this is the reason the Kluger won't pick up my keys in my bag. I have an iPhone......hmmmm But then again sometimes the Kluger won't pick up my key when I'm standing with them in my hand with no phone anywhere near me. And most of the time it won't lock when you walk away from it like it's supposed to.

I hate keyless entry. Well the keyless entry on the Kluger anyway :(

I've never had it happen with my old Nokia or new Samsung, but like squala I now keep the key in a different pocket to avoid scratching the touchscreen.
