Likelihood of being denied roadworthy?

hey guys

some may know i actually sold my asx, but in order for me to sell it i need to get a roadworthy for it. the car is basicly bone stock bar the wheels and lowering.

thats the only thing that scares me about doing it because the wheels are 20" and the car came stock with 16" and the suspension has been lowered.

the tires that are on the car are 245/40/20 but stock came with 205/60/16.

would my best option be to throw a set of standard wheels on the car before i take it for the roadworthy? only thing is i only have the spare rims that i have off my lancer. tires are still good on them but is there any way they'd deny me for that?

cheers guys

It will depend which mechanic you go to and whether or not you have their favourite beer!

Just take it down to wherever you intend on getting roadworthy and ask them flat out "Hey would that fail on wheels or should I swap to 16"s before bringing it in?"

Michael, asx stock rubber is 215/65/16

205/60/16 is for our lancers.
