Can someone name what car this came from?? Got f-ing side swiped. Bloke drives off. Witnesses sore the car and only got part of the rego... Cops say they can't help. Think if I can give them a make and model they might be able to.. all this happened when I was out.. not a good thing to come home too.
Also, I hope that link works...

looks similar to a VT commodore headlight - but that's a bit of a stab in the dark

Only problem is it is pretty hard to identify the light and which car it come from, alot of cars have similar looking headlights! Sorry to say but I don't like your chances!
Anyways best of luck, hope all goes well!

Looks to me like the clear cover for a VS commodore indicator. Did they swipe your drivers side or passenger side? If they swiped your drivers side, it looks almost exactly like the passenger VS indicator lens. Even down to the 3 sets of vertical lines, separated horizontally. You'll know what I mean when you see this picture

On second thoughts, that looks too pointy to be a VS D:

What part of the plate did they get?

First 3 letters..
Cops reckon its to hard to tell who it is with just that...
So basically there are only gunna be 999 different plates starting with that. Narrow that down to cars near this area. Would only be a couple.

How big is that piece?
My guess is a front-left indicator from a EF/EL Falcon. Were you parked on the kerb, and your right side was hit by their left side?
Freakin idiots that don't even know a Ford from a Holden... I can't understand how people can be so ignorant. Cars even have their name written on the back!

Yeah your exactly right... Hit side of my door along to half of my wheel.arch.. door barely opens now too. I'll post a photo in a bit...
Addmitedly it was raining fairly bad, so the lady driving the other way didn't see much... All she got was FTX as a rego and she thought it was a ford sapphire.
