Sadly replacing the lancer ):
Hey guys,
For those that dont know, I got into a pretty bad crash last sunday night. NRMA's assesor called me today basically saying theres a good chance they are going to write off my car. I have the option of old for new because it was a new car and all. But I'm thinking of trying something different. I'm 19 on my red P's, and have a budget of 30-40k. I would like to stay closer to 30 but 40 is available. I have been looking in this budget range online and havent come up with any cars that have what i had in my baby lancer ):
key features im looking for are:
Aesthetic appeal, smart key (loved the VRX's smart key, so convenient!) Obviously something modern or modern looking, its going to be my car for the next 3-4 years i imagine, decent performance if its not a euro car, manual, and a stock sound system. i also dont want a heavily modified car. just something nice really. with a decent pull like the VRX.
anyone help?
At the moment im in love with this:

but i have no idea about lexus's and havent had the time to do any research on them or this car..

I DEFINITELY agree with this. I love the A4, and although it doesn't have the sound system you would desire, it's not such a problem really. Having that budget is just wow though, what do you for work man?
Crayon Pop "straight-five engine" dance ftw.

I can tell you now that the standard OEM sound in the A4 is pretty damn awesome

Good point, i racked up alot of km's on in the 7-8 months i had it, (45k) because of the situation that having no car has put me on though getting public transport to work is more convenient, easier and cheaper then i initially though, so my lexus would probably only be getting about 15000 a year..
And i dont do anything crazy for work lol, i manage shipments for key accounts at Schenker.. so like apple samsung and stuff, its not as special as the job title sounds, but it does pay quite well for me considering i dropped out in year 12 and have no qualifications lol.

that would defiantly be my pick as its not classed as a "High Performance vehicle" and no turbo's so its fine for P Platers

I really like the look of those.
I know it's an auto, but you get the point. Thought of Skoda?
