Marking seat position

Postby Seal Cub » Sat Jul 28, 2012 12:07 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm about to take my lancer for its first servicing, but I'm a bit of an OCD freak when it comes to my seat position because I have it in the perfect spot.

Can anyone recommend a way to mark the seating/reclining position without damaging or staining the cloth?

thanks!

Chalk the side of your center console using a ruler across the front of the chair to mark the location of the seat. if you get me

Just put your passenger seat in the same position as your driver's seat so you can copy it after :P
Or compare it to the lines around your shifter. Or take a photo!

Also, ask them to not move it unless absolutely necessary....

lol you'd think that would be the easiest thing to do but when most people jump into a car they straight away jam the seat back/forward even if to move it a few feet away :(

Because each time a person who is getting in your car could be either Taller or shorter then what you are so they will need to move it happens to me also . :-)

I reckon set you passenger seat up the same way as the drivers Side and you should all good :-)
