Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any history with these guys

http://ssv.com.au/

Since im a bit chicken on installing my angel eyes myself, Im thinking of getting them to install my angel eyes.. but being over protective of my car, I'm scared they might screw it up. Anyone know if they're any good?

Cheers~

well at least if they screw it up they have to pay for it to get it fixed. If you screw it up your screwed :P. If your getting your car modded just make sure you ask them heaps of questions, Even be blunt about it, just be like what if you screw something up? or one of your guys breaks something. Will you pay to replace it ect? And try to get something signed up so he cant say he never said that if it gets to that point.

LoL all the way in Forster!! I'll get a quote first and i'll weigh out my options hehe. Just wondering... i just realised... do both rings appear on each light without highbeam?? Or do both only turn on when highbeam is on?

Ok... instead of going to my biochem lecture I decided to bring my side skirts (not angel eyes) to get a quote on how much they will fit them for. I know there is a DIY but unless someone wants to help me put them on... Im really hesitant on drilling into my metal, especially when I know I am prone to do things wrongly. But anyways the dealer told me he doesnt want to drill into the car coz in the long run rust might build up and cost more problems, but instead its better to glue it on and leave it there over night. To do that he said they'll charge me $280... What do you guys reckon?

$280 to glue it to the car? Seems excessive.

What side skirts are they?

Agreed. Considering it would probably be a half hour job for them.

Yeah I agree... they are the ones shadows sell.

I asked whether I could bring it in early in the morning and collect it at the end of the day (since they are open from 8:30-6pm) but he still insisted in saying he had to keep it over night. So yeah I dont really think its worth it unless im desperate

Shouldn't shadows attach to where the VRX side skirts attach - they should pretty much be clip ins and the holes should be there as far as I am aware.

Pull off your mud guards and check it out - they probably use the same holes they are attached with.

They are there.. but if you read the installation pdf for the side skirts it involves a bit of drilling and stuff into the metal chassis. That is my main concern.. screwing it up and ending up drilling in the wrong place =/
