Although, the fact that they are still so popular at the current prices and it brings in soooo much revenue i have a feeling no one is going to give it a second thought.

The issue is that the money will have to come from somewhere else... So what do they increase the price of to compensate for lost revenue of the number plates?

The best way to protest is for everyone to hand in their personalised plates. No revenue = they drop prices to get customers again... while they are making bulk coin off them, they are not going to listen to a petition.

In saying that, I have signed in case they do :P

Hubby won't let me get personalised plates for the Lancer because he doesn't want to pay the $90 a year. I have personalised plates on the Bubble that my daughter drives of mine but he won't let me take them off and put them on the new one. They're JAK 121 and he reckons they have to stay on the 121. I got them when I got the car and that was way before we had to pay every year so they were only a one off payment of $150 in 1997.
