I'm buying a couple of things from Talon next week.. but because of this review, I'm going to be driving the 3.5 hours to get there so I can inspect their gear first!

Thanks for the heads up.

If you're doing that, get them to do a pre-fit, even if you're getting someone else to paint & final-fit the parts...

Mine went on ok, but:

It's a two-man job
It won't fit perfectly - the fibreglass is stiff, your bumper is flexible
It's not OEM

Look at every picture you can find online to see how it's supposed to fit.

If you're getting the diffuser, buy a couple of quick-clamps and hold the diffuser on with the 'flat' sections at either side after you've pulled the fibreglass in to mate with the bumper.

Mine went on with only millimetre gaps - I did a pre-fit and 'bogged-up' any gap more than a millimetre.

Use automotive sikkaflex along & inside the join to stick the diffuser on and use chunky self-tappers on the 'flat' spots on either side.

Here's how mine finished up:

Since I took these photos, I went over the join with a 2mm blue trim (like the chrome stuff everyone uses to go around the grille, but thinner. and blue!) to hide the thin black line where the sikkaflex 'fills' any gaps...

Looks factory!

Cheers. *biggrin1*

Hmm... unfortunately I have damage to my rear bumper, so I wont be able to test fit. Only reason I'm getting it done now is because I'm paying all the fees to get the bumper replaced and painted, so I'm adding these parts in at the same time.

Your finish looks good though, if there are any dramas I might have to take inspiration from you.. the mob I'm going through seem pretty capable, though.
