Ha, I did this in my Skyline once, on a busy road in Toowong.
I had half-arsed some pipes back together because I was in the middle of some work, and thought I'd just drive around very carefully for a couple of days rather than tighten all the clamps that were super hard to get to...
It worked well until a car pulled out in front of me unexpectedly and I had to lift off the gas quickly. As soon as the throttle body snapped closed, the pressure found the path of least resistance and there was a Whhuzzzz! from the front of the car. Luckily I was in the left lane and there was somewhere to pull over, just happened to be outside a Kmart Tyre & Auto so I borrowed a trolley jack and manhandled it back together in the gutter.
