Fishing line
Simply use a length of line and place it behind the badge. The saw back and forth (gently) across the rear of the badge surface. Badge will simply fall off. All thats left is the glue on the car which can be removed using your thumb.
Hope this helps
Cheers
John

Yeah, it does suck John. Quite a bit of damage was done but it could have been worse.....Did they damage yours when they did it? Thanks so much for the offer but we bought a new one the week that it happened
Hey Andreas, we just took the VR off ours not the diamond badge. We just used a hairdryer until the letters became loose - which didn't take long, then we just pulled them off - easy, we didn't need to use any fishing line. And the glue that didn't come off with our fingers we got off with that citrus goo remover stuff.

I hope you put some polish back on after using that goo remover, it pretty much strips polish. doesn't hurt the paint, but kills the polish
