Just an average day with my CJ

hang on i thought that you didn't scrape on your own driveway because you know how to drive out of it slowly? things have changed it seems

Normally I'm fine. But yesterday a neigbour had a visitor and the prick parked in a spot where i couldn't get my line  it scraped going in, but going out it was ok...

I should take some photos of where Ashley scrapes, she can't get out without scraping the lower bar haha

after a wile it will have grind down enough to not scrap.

Trouble is each entry/exit is not 100% the same. But it has ground down a fair bit lol

I also got around to changing the trans gear oil (over to redline MTL/MT90 mix) and changed the oil in the centre diff (used castrol SAF-XA)

Nice, I did the same on my X 3 months ago. might have do re-do the UICP as i scratched a bit off with my socked set when I put the pipe back on :) I like the FMIC black.. post some pics up of yours if you can.

Here is the only pic i took whilst doing it:

Notice i also painted the power steering pipe, the water spray mount and moved the top horn to near the bonnet catch (so it cant be seen when the bumper is back on the car like originally)

^^ wont really change a thing to do with its effectiveness. Only a thin coat of paint, if it was like 4 or 5 coats than it might take a little longer to cool down and quicker to heat up in the sun.

No not really. Its no different to when car radiators used to be painted (they stopped it to save $$$)

On my previous car (Turbo FG falcon) i painted the intercooler black and back to back tests of intake temps (after the intercooler) didnt change..... Its not like your putting on a thick coat of paint, i only sprayed on enough to colour it and also the paint is only on the front of the core and front of the tanks (where u can see it). The paint hasnt gone "into" the fins (which actually do the cooling by increasing the surface area) much at all

I washed my car at one of those self car wash.
I came home and it wasn't washed properly

I washed the car again with a waterless car wash product I have

Nice and shiny

found massive stone chips on both sides of the car near the bottom + near the bottoms of all doors...

My front bumper seems to be falling apart =(
one of the clips is broken I can see a little gap...

Looks like I need a new bumper pretty soon =(

Looking forward to tanking up with 98 on a dry day to see how she goes

Thanks for your time Ofey, much appreciated :)

Yep they are, they are made for the CJ. Seller seems to put some up for sale once every while.

Been eyeballing them since late last year, finally bought a set.
