Did this to my car today...

Image

... :(

It was a bit hot today around midday, my guess is that the heat would've made the glue soft, and when I went to give it a bit of a wipe, the C just fell off.

Sikaflex will fix this right? Anyone know what type I should get..?

Just use a good double sided tape. Clean the surface properly first.

I finally finished the last of my leather today - the door panels.
Don't have pics of the whole thing, I'll get some pics and post them soon.

And for those of you with white cars, you can simply remove the cloth trim and the underneath will be all neat and white! It looks pretty good as is, but it is a canvas material..

Hey Kelvin,

Thanks for the compliments!

I got it from the X-factor leather group buy which happened a few months ago:

As for the installation, it is pretty straight forward, just takes a lot of work!
I also cheated on a few parts, like when it was too tight or required stitching, I just used metal clips haha.

Installed the c-pillar and a-pillars with 3M DiNoc CF.

I must say very impressed with the workability of the 3M stuff. At first it takes a bit to get familiar and comfortable with the capabilities and limitations of the wrap. For a first timer, very impressed with my work, I must say, my first A-pillar had a small tear, but that was just me being a novice. After that it was smooth sailing. B-pillars are an utter bitch and I've just done the outer parts of the B-pillar. I have to do the seatbeat slider bit and that's challenging me. so much so, i'm over it and will attack it tmrw. :P

When I did mine with Neffy Wrap, I actually just painted the slider piece. You don't see a lot of it anyways.
