this is what the website says
Made from high grade carbon fiber twill weave. These window vents have carbon fiber wrapped on both sides it not only looks good from the outside but from the inside as well. Simple solution to cool the cabin without creating air turbulence. Great mod for track days!

Basically for me I will use them for my long trips, when I have the dog in the back and because the EVO is black and gets hot as hell in summer they should ease the heat issue inside on initial entry :D

I've just put weathershields onto Myra and these vents would be mostly hidden, so no security issues - might have to invest in a pair.... :-)

Nice and they would keep car cool without riskyness of having a window slightly open in comparision. but then theres rain or some twit dropping something thru them..

Yeah pretty much, good for a dark car in summer, it was. 35 today and the car was not horrible to get in, much more pleasant, rain is always a risk but you can generally plan for that, as for twits have not encountered any yet, and another good thing is that I can actually drive around with the windows down and the vents in and they stay nicely :)
And they turn quite a few heads aswel :) :D

Looks good, it's a functional mod, makes the car more comfortable to get into and they're not too bad on price either

Win win win is what I see :) We are lucky to get at least a week of rain a year up here in North Queensland so I'd be able to keep those in quite often too!

I know it was some time ago but love the window vents, how are they working out?

I've got weather shields so I tend to just leave my windows down a crack when parked in the sun and its safe from rain. Same goes when driving n the wet, besides with CC its just easier to set it to auto and let it do all the work.

That said that do look cool, but my only concern is forgetting them and putting the windows down and them dropping off or rain coming in.

Got a couple of things in the mail coming soon (I hope) but got some carbon fiber wrap for a few jobs last week and hope to use it soon.

With those tires are u getting any particular tire shop to mount them, how do they go with the idea that the tires were not purchased from them though?

yeah they are going good,
they stay in with the windows down as they have a lip that slides in to the rubber, (where the glass usually goes.
as for rain it will come in like if you had your window cracked, its inevertable, (obviously the amount woud reduced as there is less surface area for the water to penetrate).

Nope, bought them from NSW, its hard to find any thing over 245's (i bought 255's) in the country, should be no issue, moneys money, when i bought my RPF-1's there was no issue swapping and mounting tires even though i didnt buy the wheels from a particular shop, same concept really. if not i will just find some where that will, so no big deal
