All the conspiracy theories you read on the internet surrouding K&N filter's ill reputation for fouling MAF sensors are unjustified IMHO. I've had K&N in prev cars, never had MAF issues with any. If you clean it and oil it correctly - following the instructions, you won't have filter oil in your intake/MAF.
Based on empirical evidence, HKS filters are the ones that tend to destroy MAFs in Lancers:
