I know exactly how this feels. Our dog had a fit several months ago and we had to rush him to the vet at 1am on a Friday night. Unfortunately he lost bodily function control several times on the way to the vet s**t and p*ssed all over the back seats (even tho we had towels down they can only catch so much).

I washed the seats 2 times and used armoral carpet cleaner (2 cans in all) just to get rid of the smell. Couldn't get the stains out completely.

Plus side was the car was written off a week later so I never had to live with the memory of that night.

Cheers
John

The best way to clean your seats are to take them out of your car and wash them with a high pressure washer like at the car wash. Then leave them to dry before fitting back.

I did this to my Dad's car because he takes his 2 German Shepard dogs with him every where. They are farm dogs so are always wet and dirty. The seats were like new afterwards.

Be careful with front seats with air bags as I do not know what happens if they get wet.

I personally unbolt my front seats and the back every couple of years as then you can really clean them and the carpets. I often remove the console between the front seats as well.

I have not done it with my Lancer because it has not got dirty yet.
