Imagine if they made a hatchback lancer now :) Should have gone with that than this monstrosity! When will car companies figure out that just because you want a small car doesnt mean you what some rounded cheerful looking thing. The 90s had it right: suzuki swift, mirage + others (Im sure I could think of others just not now) where they were hot hatches that were actually kinda worth modding cause they could look good. Think is doesnt matter how much you mod a micra or this mirage or a lot of the other small cars today, they are never going to look tough/good. Holden finally got it right with the barina this time...

Yes the 90s hatches were really nice to have, I wonder what happened to the design department for the recent small cars to be honest.
The barina did end up looking just right (which I'm happy about) and they're nice and zippy! :D

But I'd still get a 90s hatchback in the end; especially if it was a Mirage Cyborg..

Yes the old Mirage's were Lancer hatchbacks.

Remember in about 6 months time a new model Lancer design will probably be released. I would not be surprised if Mitsubishi make the Lancer smaller. So it could be the same as the new Mirage only in a 4 door version.

Yup, Mirage and Colt are pretty much the same thing. It's also a shame that the upcoming Lancer is likely to look similar to that car, the reason being its too manly of a design (prove them wrong lady members). And given Mitsu's going too far with the shortcuts such as cheap relays and space-saver tyres that disrupt the ACD, the RA could well be my last car of this brand.

Shouldn't buy a sports car based on a cheap platform then :P
I thought the current gen lancer was selling well? Obviously the colt has been doing crap, at least around here. I see more of the cabriolet colts than normal ones and they're disgusting :(
Oh well, I don't really care about brand loyalty...
