Yes I hit post and didnt realise what I was pressing on the keyboard wasnt showing on the screen.

There should be no issues, alot of people import these all the time for hunting, displays etc.

I handle containerised cargo so I can't the latest on what they will require and it is different for each circumstance, ring Canberra and ask for someone in restricted imports.

Tell them what it is and what its to be used for and they will send you the forms you fill them in send them back and 9 times out of 10 its approved. They may do a background check to make sure you have no criminal history.

If you do have issues getting it in due to the item let me know and I will speak to someone with more experience in restricted imports.
